![]() ![]() ![]() This was a technical limitation, but also a choice we were fine with, as we thought we could balance the dive bomber setups to be competitive. We really wanted to release her for Gamescom and uphold tradition, but could only do that with dive bomber setups if we later wanted to add back torpedo squadrons that had been positively received (but also too powerful) in the first round of testing. There has been a lot of controversy in the community lately regarding the recently released premium ship Graf Zeppelin, and we would like to share an update on the situation, as well as our thoughts on how we believe we should proceed.įirst of all, we realize the ship definitely did not meet the expectations of the community, it is clear that we didn’t put enough effort into fine tuning and finding the right balance and play style for the Graf. The following is Wargaming statement to both Graf Zeppelin and iChase situations, and I’ve to admit I have nothing else to say to Wargaming aside of “Well done!”. Each had his reasons to agree or not, but a lot started to see the SirFoch shadow over in the sky, and the last thing we wanted was another SirFoch incident.Īt least this time it didn’t take as long for Wargaming to react, and to our surprise, after a calm reflection on what was going on, Wargaming admitted they made a mistake and were going to make things right. Has to be said, while some didn’t agree with Wargaming decision, there where some who did. At the same time Reddit explodes with iChase removal from the Community Contributor Program, the rest of the Community Contributors start to worry and talk with Wargaming. While some Contributors were more contained in their videos, iChase made a couple of comments that for some reason upset Wargaming. ![]() Of course there was a big hype around this ship, but as soon as the Community Contributor videos started to come out, some players noticed one issue: all of them agreed the ship wasn’t ready and it was seriously underpowered. ![]() While Supertesters and Community Contributors screamed the ship wasn’t ready, Wargaming decided to release the ship at Gamescom. Some of you might be aware, others not, but there was a big drama going on World of Warships due to the premature release of the German Aircraft Carrier Graf Zeppelin. ![]()
